My friends band Fin Raziel, took this in a bar in Brighton. Thought the mirror was a nice trick, but only noticed as I was reaching to get my drink!
First wedding I ever shot and this is still my favourite wedding shot I’ve taken. I’d watched him laughing for a while and I had this shot envisioned in my head. I waited and waited for his friend to finish a joke he was telling, I knew he would laugh like that, the punchline was coming, I could feel it… then… BAM!! haha
I took this in Times Square. Used a flash and pull focus with a slow shutter speed to get that motion effect whilst keeping the detail in the shot.
This was the first of many self-portraits I took when I was living in London. I kind of had to, to save money. I ended up taking the shot for the cover of my album A Word In Edgeways, just to save money haha! Set up a tripod and a flash gun and away you go!

This was in Venice. Cliché I know, but I’ve always wanted to go there. Apart from the masses of tourists and the dudes trying to rip off the tourists, it was a very interesting and gorgeous place. Every street looks like this, it’s so easy to get lost.
This is a stunt place doing a mid-air stall. Even though I’d seen him do it 3 times, my heart was always in my mouth until his engine started up again. Got him the 3rd time.

This is an old friend of mine Theseus Gerrard. Believe it or not he was the face of the percussion theatre sensation ‘Stomp!’. Up until last year if you went to Times Square in New York, you’d see him doing a flying kick holding 2 trash can lids (yep, that was him). Sadly Theseus was a victim of the malicious industry he was in and did not get the treatment he deserved. I got to know this man very well and he truly has a tragic tale, his face really tells every story.
